Marysia's work reflects her environment. She is equally at home in the natural world and the urban landscape. Moving from London to Fife was a dream that materialised 14 years ago. 

Marysia is interested in how we affect our environment and what remains, physically and emotionally. Residencies in relatively remote areas give Marysia the opportunity to explore the landscape as well as time away to reflect on her past and future projects. And she definitely needs a 'project'!

Marysia works with digital and analogue photography as well as early and alternative photographic processes, choosing the most relevant format to suit the subject matter. She appreciates the physicality of her involvement with the elements as well as not knowing exactly what the results will be.

Marysia enjoys artist residencies. She is open to collaborations and group exhibitions.
