Artist residencies are important for developing my practice. In my experience they are also hugely beneficial to the host organisation.
The Steeple
From May-July 2010 I was resident artist at
The Steeple in Newburgh, Fife, Scotland
to develop my practice and
to produce new work inspired by the area.
This was when I started my blog
and to document the coastal defences of Fife
which lead to my exhibition Traces.
